About

Hi, my name’s Geoff Robson. I’m a Christian (of the reformed, evangelical variety), husband to the beautiful Liz, and father to four wonderful children (and a decent son-in-law). I was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, and have worked as a pastor of churches in both Australia and New Zealand, as well as having spent many years in campus ministry with TSCF. These days, I’m the Publishing Director for Matthias Media, a Christian publishing company based in Sydney. I’m the author of The Book of Books and Thank God For Bedtime, the co-author of The Generosity Project, the contributing author for Growth and Change (by Andrew Heard), and the editor of many other books and resources. I also write for various other websites and publications, but I never really write for Every Thought Captive anymore. Thanks for stopping by anyway—enjoy the archive!

In case you’re interested in this kind of stuff, I love board games, British comedy, the Beatles, and almost any kind of sport.

I am a great sinner, but Jesus is an even greater Saviour.

  1. Hi Geoff

I’m actually writing to seek permission to re-post one of your blog articles to our online magazine for Baptists in Victoria (Australia). You can find us at buv.com.au/witness The article I’m referring to is: Never Give up on Evanelism which I read on churchleaders.com.

We would run the article with the following proposed acknowledgement (or any other wording you would like to provide?):

This article appeared on churchleaders.com in August 2013.

A staff worker with the Christian Union at the University of Canterbury (in Christchurch, NZ), where he aims to share the good news of Jesus with students – and anyone else who’ll listen.
